Tales from the Seventh
The Mortal Realm Atlas

The primary landmass on Dorune is called Tarazon. This super-continent is massive, spanning half the world in a huge crescent arc with one tip nearing the northern pole and the other nestled in the southern tropics. It sprawls over six thousand miles east to west, eight thousand miles north to south, and sports a plethora of environments including polar, temperate, swamp, desert and jungle. A colossal mountain range, known generally as Mazon's Razor, thrusts skyward along its entire length and acts as the continent's spine.

Nestled within the turbulent sea that sits between the arms of the Tarazonian crescent is the island-continent of Aerudin. Mysterious, secluded, and difficult to travel to, it dominated by haunted forests containing forgotten ruins and dark enchantments. Just off the northern tip of Tarazon, straddling the polar region, is the small inhospitable continent of Mazradun. Constantly shrouded in mist and wracked by terrible storms, it is not fit for man or beast, though both flourish here.

The stone beneath the surface of Dorune is honeycombed with tunnels, tremendous caverns and even at least one subterranean sea. Known generally as the the sub-world and to some as the endless Infurnum, it is home to a vast variety of dark creatures, lost souls and worse.
